It’s all so confusing,
wondering why,
wondering how come,
wondering about the parts I’m left to discover on my own.
It’s all so confusing,
wishing I could remember,
wishing I could piece it together,
wishing I could break through your hate.
It’s all so confusing,
knowing I’m right,
knowing I’m wrong,
knowing I’m worthy of the love that so easily flows from your pen.
It’s all so confusing,
being the only one that’s left off the list,
tapping on the window in hopes of a chance,
standing in the open for all to see.
It’s all so confusing,
beginning again, and again, and again,
walking away,
turning around.
It’s all so clear,
doing the right thing,
not shouting it from the rooftops.
It’s all so clear,
nudging yourself forward,
not waiting for a superhero.
It’s all so clear,
just beginning again,
… in the end.

yes, every day, we begin again. sometimes it’s amazing that we all manage to muddle through the confusion. somehow, we do. hugs to you.
Thank you Kelly.
I think muddling through the confusion is a good place to be… at least it’s muddling and not sinking. 🙂
Exactly. Resonating right with you!
Thank you!
It really is one big pot of confusion, beautifully written.

I think, for me, this was more about a certain amount of clarity in the midst of the confusion. Starting over… which we do continuously.
Thank you Jingle!
The circle of life . . . . it’s blurry, it’s confusing, it’s clear, then foggy, then clear . . . it is just incredible!!
And there is no waiting for the superhero . . . . because YOU ARE the superhero.
hey, girl! *sparkly shining sequined super squishy hugs* ♥
Right!
See?
Yes!
It’s all those things and we have to be okay with all the ebbs and flows and sand traps and mud pits and unicorns and rainbows. 🙂
i agree that each day is a new beginning. we can work towards the goal we had planned; we can change our plan; we can stay where we are; we can slip back when we don’t want to or even fall down. that doesn’t matter. what is important is to keep trying. that’s what they say and i agree most of the time. but i think we also have to be pragmatic once in a while and decide that things are never going to change back to what we would so dearly love. it takes however long it takes to reach that point of acceptance. even if it feels like defeat, sometimes we just have to give up and walk away for our own sanity. it’s all so confusing. how to know what to do, when to do it, when to hold onto hope, when to change direction. i often just want to hide under the covers.
and, yeah, YOU ARE the superhero!!! Love you! *Shiny Squishy Hugs* ♥
I’m tired of hiding under the covers.
I’m ready to be the person I know I am.
Thank you Dani!
So characteristic of love and commitment. The need to say ‘i do’ keeps re-appearing, doesn’t it?
Yes… thank you!
Sometimes I think we just need to take that chance and scream
Yes, I think taking the chance is better than being idle. 🙂
I understand completely. I’ve been there. New beginnings is the key. I ain’t over til it’s over.
